Western New England University will hold its annual Veteran’s Day ceremony on Monday, November 11, at 12:00 p.m. at the Gazebo on Deliso Lawn. This event is dedicated to honoring our nation’s veterans and recognizing the strong ties between the Western New England University community and military service.
The ceremony will include remarks from University President Dr. Robert Johnson and Lieutenant Colonel Jason T. Hunter of the United States Air Force. In a solemn tribute, Dr. Johnson and Lieutenant Colonels Brian Alexander of the U.S. Army and Jason Hunter will conduct a wreath-laying ceremony to honor and commemorate those who have served our country through military service.
The event is organized by the College of Business, with support from the on-campus Air Force and Army ROTC programs, the College of Business Cohen Scholars, and the Golden Bear football team. The entire university community, including students, faculty, staff, and local residents, is invited to attend.
“Western New England University has a long history of supporting our military and veteran alumni, faculty, staff, and students,” said President Johnson. “This annual ceremony is an important way for us to recognize their service and sacrifice.”
